Pechora (Russian: Печо́ра) is a town in the Komi Republic, Russia, located on the Pechora River, near the northern Ural Mountains. Population: 43,105 (2010 Census);[3] 48,700 (2002 Census);[5] 64,746 (1989 Census).
It was granted town status in 1949.
